this meter was a great buy It works like it should . it is now my fall back meter. it will not replace my field piece meter . I will use on AC units electrical issues in house and my vehicles. my 01 Xterra had a electrical gremlins that it helped me fix oil light kept coming on with key off . was excited to use didn't have to switch modes from DC voltage to ohms and or resistance (the beep) when u put both leads together (like a short ) great buy and great meter now gonna buy a lead kit to go with.

Perfect measuring tool for my purposes. Tips: 1) The protective case removes at the front edge of the meter - just like a cellphone. 2) The batteries need at least 1.6 vdc when installing. 3) The test leads had loose connections initially - easily cured with a small standard screwdriver 🪛. I just spread the four sections apart until consistent contact was established. Once all these technical things are resolved, it accurately measured my DC voltages. I haven't tested other functions except the flashlight and temperature - both accurate. Highly recommend. Best test equipment in my tool bag.
